Nasal Cautery With Silver Nitrate

I recently saw a patient with a recurrent nosebleed. This is a common problem. I will post in the future how to try and prevent nosebleeds and how to treat one when it happens.
In this video, I will show you how we cauterize a small bleeder with silver nitrate. I sprayed the treated area with tetracaine, a topical anesthetic, before cauterizing the area.
